8 steps to replace the pump.

1. Remove the toilet paper and the paper holder. The pump is located under the holder.
2. Loosen the screw on the holder and remove the entire pump. Disconnect the hose. NOTE: Cartridges manufactured between 1987 and 1989 have two black connectors on the white cable. If this is the case, remove both black connectors.
3. Cut the cable above the pump.
4. Expose the blue and brown wires.
5. Attach the pump holder and heat shrink tubing to the new pump. Connect the wires (blue-blue / brown-brown).
6. Slide the shrink tubing over the wires and melt them together. This is important because the pump comes into contact with water inside.
7. Reconnect the flush hose and screw the pump back in place.
8. Reattach the holder and toilet paper.
