If the mechanism in the cassette is positioned incorrectly in relation to the drainage and ventilation of the toilet chassis in your vehicle (e.g. right cassette to left toilet or vice versa)
By pulling out the rectangular sliding lock to 1/3, you can rotate the entire mechanism (the large circular plate that is secured with a bayonet fitting), lift it up and turn the mechanism 180 degrees ""in the air"" before reassembling it. This way, you can have either a right or a left cassette (it does not affect the function if any arrow markings in the plastic do not match).
