Caravan
Are you looking for a new winter tent for your caravan? We have many models from several well-known manufacturers such as Isabella, Dorema, Svenska-Tält, Ventura, Reimo, Inaca.
What characterizes a winter tent compared to regular summer tents is that they are shorter in depth, have stronger roof materials & sturdier frames. These features are required for the tents to withstand our Nordic winter climate. Snow loads and tough weather conditions put a high strain on the tents, and we recommend that you always remove the snow from the roof if you are on site. If you plan to leave the tent for a few days, it is very smart to install a winter securing. These are extra frame pegs that are attached to the roof and legs that are placed on the ground up to the roof pegs. To strengthen the frame against any snow that may come on the days you are not on site.
Winter awnings are perfect for those looking for extra space for the caravan, to avoid bringing dirt directly into the vehicle, and serve as an excellent storage for clothes, skis, etc.
Some winter camps have rules regarding depth in front of their caravan, so that the snowplows can have their machines functioning. The tent manufacturers are aware of this and have therefore developed customized sizes specifically for winter camping. We recommend that you contact your campsite regarding the rules that apply to them.
