The battery protection device Smart BatteryProtect disconnects the battery from non-essential loads before it is completely discharged (which can damage the battery) or before it can no longer start the engine.

When using Bluetooth to programme Smart BatteryProtect, you can set optional levels for connection and disconnection. Alternatively, one of the nine predefined levels can be set using the programming pin (see the manual).

The Bluetooth function can be turned off if necessary.

Smart BatteryProtect is a one-way device. It can only handle current in one direction, either to a load or from a charger, but not both at the same time. Additionally, the current can only flow from the IN terminal to the OUT terminal. When used with a load, the battery is connected to the IN terminal, and when used with a charger, the charger is connected to the IN terminal.
