The height is determined from the ground up to the brackets of the lintel that are mounted on the awning in the box against the wall. For the Thule Omnistore 1200 awning & Thule 6200 Ducato, there are ready-made sides.

XS - 180-199 (Van & Panel Vans) 
S - 205-224
M - 225-244
L - 245-264
XL - 265-284
XXL - 285-304

D = Depth
H = Height

Here are Thule's awning models with their various depths; if you are unsure which model you have? On the inside of the awning, when it is wound out, there is a label on either the rear box, the front aluminium cassette, or on an awning arm. This contains all the information about your specific awning, Brand, model, length, colour.

Thule 5-series (wall-mounted) - 5002/5003/5200: 2.5 m
Thule 6-series (roof-mounted) - 6002/6003/6200/6300: 2.5 m
Thule 8-series (wall-mounted) - 8000: 2.75 m
Thule 9-series (roof-mounted) - 3.0 m
Thule Omnistor awning 1200 - 2.5 m (This has its own variant with a fixed height)
