Battery circuit 1 can be set for all common battery types; Sealed (AGM), GEL, Flooded (Lead Acid) and Lithium. (LiFePo4, LiNiCoMn)
Battery circuit 2 is dedicated to the starter battery and is NOT adjustable for different battery types, only for Flooded (Lead Acid)
Batt 2 provides maintenance charging (trickle charge) at 1A
Batt 1 & 2 must have the same battery voltage!
