Provides a more even flow, especially at low flows, and also prevents the pump switch from turning on and off as frequently, which spares both the switch and the pump motor, extending their lifespan. With a pressure tank installed, both water and power consumption are reduced. For repairs, the pressure tank can be disassembled, allowing access to the membrane. The pressure in the chamber above the membrane is factory set to 0.9 bar (13.05 psi), which is suited for Fiamma water pumps, but can be adjusted with the help of a compressor to better fit pumps from other manufacturers.
