Good to know about melamine!
- Hand wash if possible, melamine can withstand dishwashers up to a maximum of 45°C.
- Always try to rinse off food residues immediately, any stains will become harder to remove over time. We recommend the cleaning product from Gimex, see under related products.
- Avoid hot liquids. Melamine can withstand up to a maximum of 80°C. Coffee from a brewer/machine is around 80°C after it has cooled for about two minutes.
- Do not use in a microwave, the structure of melamine can be damaged and cracks may occur.
