We provide a performance guarantee on our solar cells as follows: 90% for the first 10 years and at least 80% for a total of 25 years.
There are 2 types of solar cells constructed with an aluminium frame, Monocrystalline (Mono) and Polycrystalline (Poly). Mono is recognised by its bright blue almost black colour, while Poly has a more speckled blue shade.
Mono cells consist of single crystal blocks which gives them a higher efficiency due to purer silicon than Poly cells which have many small crystals. This is particularly noticeable in cloudy weather and when the sun does not have a direct angle to the panel (indirect solar radiation). Mono cells generally have a longer lifespan.
