The thermal curtain offers effective heat insulation and increased comfort with easy handling. It is designed to fit perfectly in Ducato 250 (>2007) and 290 (>2014) with a high sliding door opening. A folding door facilitates easy access to the van.
In some cases, adjustment work may be needed, such as trimming protruding material at the worktop or wall cabinets. The sides of the thermal curtain can be trimmed without negatively affecting the insulation function.
Installation occurs at the top and bottom of the door opening using pre-mounted clips. After the curtain has been adapted to the interior, it is attached to the worktop or wall cabinets using pre-mounted press studs. To ensure a tight seal against the worktop or wall cabinets, clamps that attach with Velcro strips, which are included in the delivery, are used.
The insulation material consists of a sandwich structure, where the outer aluminised polyester film does not absorb moisture, even in rain or snowfall if the sliding door is open.
