Maus Stixx Pro is a small automatic fire protection device that extinguishes the fire before it has barely started. When the device detects heat at 180°C, it activates and releases a completely non-toxic and environmentally friendly potassium-based aerosol (smoke) into the space, extinguishing the fire. There are over 150 fires per year in caravans and motorhomes. Electrical / junction boxes and battery boxes are a common source of fires, often occurring when vibrations have worn through cable insulation or loosened connections and loosely hanging cables in cramped spaces generate high heat. Moisture and pests can also be a direct cause. A fire in a motorhome or caravan spreads very quickly and can rapidly become a death trap. Maus Stixx Pro provides the same protection in gas compartments as in electrical panels and above the compressor behind the fridge/freezer, where an overheated compressor and/or gas leaks cause many fires annually. Maus Stixx Pro can be easily attached to the inside of electrical cabinets, junction boxes, in the battery box, in the gas compartment, or any other space that needs fireproofing, providing automatic fire protection for 5 years that requires no maintenance, electricity, or pressure.
