Victron Phoenix MultiPlus 24/1600/40-16 is an integrated charger and inverter.

The unit is protected against short circuits, incorrect polarity, high temperature, as well as high or low battery voltage and overload. The Phoenix Multi is more than just a device with a separate charger and inverter: Victron has advanced the technology by combining these functions into one unit, a ""powerblock."" The transition between charger and inverter occurs seamlessly, ensuring a smooth and constant power supply.
With the Phoenix Multi, the power supply can be tailored to meet all needs in a holiday home. The unit can automatically start and stop the generator at low battery capacity or high consumption (provided the generator has an automatic start/stop function) and can also report when generator start is necessary. The generator can be remotely controlled via a relay contact.
The Phoenix Multi 1600 can be connected in series or parallel. Up to six units can be connected in parallel for increased power, and three units can be connected to three-phase power (400 volts), meaning there are virtually no limitations on the size of the system.
During installation, the unit should be programmed for the type of battery to be used as well as for the power that the generator can deliver, to optimise the system's performance. Software is available for free download from Victron's website. For connection, a Victron Interface MK3 USB connected to a PC/laptop and an RJ45 network cable is required.
