The Phoenix Multi is more than just a box with a charger and an inverter working separately. Victron has taken technology much further by combining the charger and inverter into a single unit, a "power block." The transition between charging and inverting happens seamlessly, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted power supply.
The Phoenix Multi 1200 can also be connected in series or parallel. Up to six units can be connected in parallel for increased power. Three units can be connected to a three-phase system (400 volts). This means there are virtually no limits to the system's size.
During installation, the unit must be programmed for the battery type being used and the power output that the generator can provide. This ensures optimal system functionality. Software can be downloaded for free from Victron’s website. For connection, a Victron Interface MK3 USB connected to a PC/laptop and an RJ45 network cable is required.
