The Phoenix Multi is more than just a device with a charger and an inverter that operate separately. Victron has developed the technology by combining the charger and inverter into one unit, a ""powerblock"". The transition between charger and inverter occurs seamlessly, ensuring a smooth and continuous power supply.
The Phoenix Multi 1600 can also be connected in series or parallel. Up to six units can be connected in parallel for increased power, and three units can be connected to three-phase power (400 volts), meaning there are virtually no limitations on the size of the system.
During installation, the unit must be programmed for the type of battery to be used as well as for the power that the generator can deliver, to achieve optimal functionality in the system. The software can be downloaded for free from Victron's website. For connection, a Victron Interface MK3 USB connected to a PC/laptop and an RJ45 network cable are required.
Programming can also be carried out by us before the product is delivered.
