The Multi 500VA is a powerful inverter delivering a pure sine wave, an advanced battery charger with adaptive charging technology, and a high-speed transfer switch capable of handling 16A.
The inverter is short-circuit protected and safeguarded against overheating due to overload or high temperature.
Remote control can be achieved by connecting a switch to the three-pole connector, allowing you to start either just the charger or both the inverter and charging functions.
During installation, the unit must be programmed for the battery type in use, as well as the power capacity of the generator, ensuring optimal system performance. Software can be downloaded for free from Victron’s website. Connection requires the Victron Interface MK3 USB connected to a PC/laptop and an RJ45 network cable.
