Brake pads

Brake shoe kits and axle kits are important components in caravan and trailer equipment. These kits consist of brake pads, brake discs, brake calipers, and other parts that are mounted on the wheel axle to ensure effective braking.

The function of brake shoe kits and axle kits is to help brake the caravan or trailer when you press the brake pedal in the towing vehicle. When you brake, the pressure from the brake caliper on the wheel axle is transferred to the brake pads, which in turn press against the brake discs and slow down the wheel.

It is important to maintain your brake shoe kits and axle kits regularly to ensure they function correctly and safely. If your caravan or trailer brakes unevenly or if you hear strange noises when braking, it may be a sign that it is time to replace the brake shoes or axle kits.
