Rat and Mouse Repeller: Battery +

Disrupts and scares away mice and rats using ultrasound. Powered by two 9V batteries (not included) that last up to 7 months. Used in caravans, motorhomes & vans during winter storage. Also works excellently to keep mice and other pests away from garages, outbuildings, and cellars. Protect, for example, winter storage of vegetables, plants, and tubers, such as dahlia tubers, by scaring away mice.

FEATURES:

The repeller emits at a frequency between 25,000 Hz to 26,000 Hz for 0.3 seconds with 4 seconds intervals. It will affect pests and they will not become accustomed to the signal.

ULTRASONIC PEST REPELLER - DUAL POWER uses two 9V batteries (not included). The battery life is 6-7 months under 24 hours of continuous operation. The effective range for mice and rats is approximately: 200-250 square meters. Since it is battery-operated, the repeller can be installed in places without wall sockets, such as inside wardrobes or cupboards, outbuildings, and barns.

BATTERY INSTALLATION:

1. Remove the bottom casing by turning it counterclockwise.

2. Install 2 x 9V alkaline batteries (not included) in the correct position.

3. Replace the bottom casing by turning it clockwise until it is locked.

4. The light indicator flashes approximately every four seconds so you know the unit is functioning correctly.

5. When the light stops flashing, it is time to replace the battery.

How to Install ULTRASONIC PEST REPELLER

As ultrasonic sound waves cannot penetrate walls, ceilings, and floors, it is recommended that the ULTRASONIC PEST REPELLER be placed facing outwards in the room, and a unit should be placed in each room.

Materials that absorb normal sound also absorb ultrasonic sound. Hard surfaces can reflect ultrasonic waves as the sound bounces along the walls of the room. The following images show how the unit works:

Typically, the effect can be noted in the treated area after about two weeks. Full protection may take up to four weeks. In areas with a high rodent population, it may be advisable to combine with traps initially.

Note:

1. Do not allow the unit to come into contact with water.

2. Do not alter or manipulate the unit's internal components.

3. Do not point the unit towards soft objects as they absorb the sound wave.

4. Use only 9V alkaline batteries (not included). Always remove an old or weak battery.

5. Covering or painting over the front speaker may damage the unit.
