The difference between the Arctus Caravan AC and a fixed-installed air heat pump is that the Arctus Caravan AC has a permanently mounted, yet soft and flexible, hose (1 metre long) between the indoor and outdoor parts through which the refrigerant is transported. This means that in most cases, you can keep the window nearly closed and achieve a quick cooling effect. The Arctus Caravan AC is easily installed without tools. Compared to a traditional portable AC, the portable AC must have a thick exhaust hose that is led out through a partially open window, which is impractical and uneconomical.
With a cooling capacity of 2,400 BTU and 750 W, it can lower the temperature in a living space of up to approximately 10-12 m². The Arctus Caravan AC can be set to 3 cooling power levels, 2 fan speeds, and it also has a built-in timer function. Everything is easily controlled via the indoor unit's LCD display. The Arctus Caravan AC also dehumidifies the air, up to 0.8 litres/hour, which is a smart feature as summer often has high humidity.
A mounting kit consisting of hanging devices is included.
